Assassin’s Creed is an action-adventure video game that was created by Corey May, Jade Raymond, and Patrice Désilets. Like many games, movies, and books, it depicts a power struggle between people who desire to control the masses in the name of peace and those that desire personal freedom for everyone as a means to peace. The Assasins desire free will, while the Templars want order and control to establish harmony. The game falls in the genres of science fiction and historical fiction, depicting exactly what society has been about from time immemorial.
In fact, the game features some real-world figures and events that have happened in history. Assassin’s creed is inspired by Vladimir Bartol’s novel, Alamut, with some tidbit additions from the Prince of Persia series. Players enjoy the game by controlling an Assassin in history or in the present day to hunt down Templars. Currently (2020), there are 11 main Assassin’s Creed games, released from 2007 to the most recent in 2018. Each time a new story is released, elements evolve, graphics are enhanced and the player’s experience is enhanced.
The first game features a protagonist named Desmond Miles who relives his ancestor’s pasts using a machine known as The Animus. It is set in an open world, and involves the ups and downs of the Assasins and Templars in finding pieces of Eden in the contemporary world. As the games progress, more complications and environments are introduced, to develop the power struggle between the two. It is all about strength, skills, and stealth in the quests in Assassin’s Creed, and players can enjoy single-player missions or enjoy a competitive game in multiplayer gameplay.
If you’re an assassin’s creed fanatic, then this sounds like music to you, and you probably can’t wait to get your hands on your desktop, console, or mobile phone to take down your targets. If this is news to you, there’s so much to enjoy, while you get to experience an excerpt of society, governments, and other forms of leadership we have today. That said, here are the top 10 Assassin’s Creed merchandise that you could buy to bring your favorite game to life, or gift a die-hard assassins creed fanatic.
Where To Buy Assassin’s Creed Merchandise?
I was completely blown away on the amount of Assassin’s Creed Merchandise that is available and especially that there’s so much cool stuff that is available. Still, like with other games, statues are very limited and the cool ones only come with games collector’s editions. Luckily, we still have old faithful Sideshow with some very cool statues. But the statues only start from $100 and can go up to $700. Normally, I would always choose a statue but not with Assassin’s Creed.
Did you know that you can actually buy the hidden blade? You can! It is super cool! You can even buy the tomahawk and the cane that have been featured in the game. If I would recommend one thing to buy, you should go with the hidden blade!
But I think, I went a little bit off topic. The best places to buy Assassin’s Creed merchandise is, if you are young and money is still a challenge, you can go to Amazon. For statues, you should go to Sideshow, no question there. Still, if you are looking for the official Assassin’s Creed Store, you can always go to the Ubisoft Store. But in the Ubisoft Store, you can only get clothing and some accessories but not the cool ones like you have on Amazon. Only the Assassin’s Creed art is exceptional, if you are looking for that go there. Please avoid Wish or Alibaba because there’s a lot of counterfeit stuff there and prices are just too low but that is my opinion.
My Top 3 Assassin’s Creed Gifts
Like I already mentioned, the props are in my opinion by the far the coolest that you can get. So let us start with absolute favorite
Don’t worry it is not real although it certainly looks like it is. I bought one of these, it now is up on display. People can pick it up and slide it out but still be a little bit careful with it. It is not build to withstand heavy force. As you can also, there are even a couple of hidden blades available. You just have to pick your favorite.
I just love this cane how it looks and how it feels. Even the box is magnificent where it comes in. It is a life-size replica of Jacob Frye’s Cane and it pops out with the press of a button. For safety reasons, it is made out of PVC and thermoplastics but it is best to still keep it away from children.
Just like with the hidden blade, you have several good looking options. To be honest, it is hard to even pick one as they all just look amazing!
